Healthy Sprouts

At Urban Sprouts, we believe that every child deserves access to nourishing food—and the joy that comes from growing and preparing it themselves.

That’s why our Garden‑to‑Table program integrates hands‑on gardening with creative cooking to foster learning, connection, and healthy habits.

Plant • Cultivate • Harvest

Children actively engage in every stage of the food cycle—from seeding and tending our onsite gardens to harvesting their own produce. These experiences deepen understanding of nature, responsibility, and community impact

Kids in the Kitchen

Weekly cooking sessions in our Children’s Cooking Kitchen translate fresh vegetables and herbs into fun, delicious dishes—each season inspiring new recipes and discoveries

Scratch‑Made, Nutritious Meals

With “Eat‑Smart” standards in place (no high‑fructose corn syrup!), our meals are made fresh every day using locally sourced ingredients—many straight from the garden. Infants receive pureed, nutrient-rich foods to support early brain growth

Educational Food Growth

Cooking becomes a rich classroom: measuring ingredients tests math skills, discovering new flavors enhances literacy and science, and working together strengthens social and emotional development
